European tour

Mon Jul 6, 2009, 6:52 AM
I've just returned from an extensive tour of Europe via auto. If anyone cares, I had been working on my new house for the last months, and had neglected my in-progress artwork for that length of time. I have a couple of commissions due, so I won't have time for my own piece that is going to be double the size of the normal pieces. However, I should be back into it in a month or so.

How's everyone doing?

I want to get back into dA as it motivates me to complete things with more rapidity, as my pieces have been drawing themselves out too much lately >____<...

Caving in...

I've finally created a full print account, and updated all of my images to at least 200 dpi, most at 300. You can see the way they look here:

In other news, I have the unveiling show for my newest piece on Saturday evening. It was quite massive in 730 hours across 2 years, so I'm excited to show it.

New account for my photos...

I've made a new account for my photos and photomanips. I would hate having to make everyone sift through photos for the illustrations, and vice versa. At any rate, the username is: ddonohuePhotos

Here is a link to the uuserpage:

I've already got a bunch of photos uploaded, and I'll put a bunch more up tomorrow.

I've opened a Cafépress store to sell shirts with my artwork upon them. You can find them at:

I've also created a brand new logo for my upcoming website:

[edit] For those of you who were wondering what I've been up to artistically for the last two months, You can see the main object from my current pencil illustration on this T-shirt:

I'm still working the entire piece, but the main character just looks way too good on his own T-Shirt...
